Dawn Swettenham welcomed Frank Field, MP, and Pharmacy Negotiating Committee representative Ian Cubbin to our Tranmere branch to request help to lobby for change on issues relating to the recent Medicine Supply Crisis. Pharmacists are struggling to obtain vital supplies of certain medications for their patients. Ian added that pharmacies are unable to budget for 2018 as we still do not have a draft contract for this year. It was not all bad news ! Dawn emphasised the huge impact pharmacies are having on the health and well being of our local communities. Frank listened to our concerns and our requests to provide even more health promoting services and has agreed to lobby the government for changes on these issues.
