At Swettenham Chemists our pharmacists are always available to help you to stay in control of your asthma
by explaining how to effectively use your type of inhaler or how to improve your inhaler technique. The
videos provided via the asthma.org.uk website will also help to support you in getting the most from your
inhaler. Click on the relevant inhaler type and the link will take you to a video explaining how to use your type of inhaler.
Why take the Asthma Control Test? The Asthma Control Test will provide you with a snapshot of how well your asthma has been controlled over the last four weeks, giving you a simple score out of 25. Asthma symptoms can vary from month to month, so it is worth keeping the test handy to see if your score changes. You can also share your results with your doctor or asthma nurse to help explain just how your asthma affects you.
Asthma.org.uk also provides action plans which are available for children and adults. You can fill in the action plans with your GP or asthma nurse. The plans list the medicines you need to stay healthy and well and explain what to do should your asthma gets worse and also explain what to do should you experience an asthma attack. The plans are available by clicking the buttons below but also on :— https://www.asthma.org.uk/advice/resources/ with lots more info
